I thought it was good-- not great but just fun and easy. Tommy didn't like it, but he did eat all of his and the rest of Kathryn's piece! We split one mug between the three of us.
~RECIPE~
1 coffee mug
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Small splash of vanilla extract
Add dry ingredients to mug; mix well. Add egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in milk and oil; mix well. Add chocolate chips (if using) and
Vanilla; mix again. Put the mug into the microwave; cook on High
For 3 minutes. The cake will rise a bit over the top. Test for doneness
With a toothpick; Allow to cool a little. Tip onto a plate if sharing
With another. Or eat it out of the mug all by yourself.

How funny - I just got an e-mail from my sister today about this very same "cake in a mug" recipe. We'll have to try it too!
Way too funny I just got this from a friend up north and sent it to my siblings guess it is popular! Fun little idea I thought!
Too funny! You guys will have to try it! I did add chocolate chips and maybe next time I'd add frosting.
