Spring Break Part 2

On Monday we loaded up 2 mini-vans 6 children (5 of which are 2 and under), the four of us and Grandma Jean and headed into the Ozarks to Eureka Springs. The drive was very scenic with only a few possible HB sightings. Our first stop was to visit a 63 foot tall Jesus. Unfortunately the Museum of Earth History was closed so we'll continue to believe in that evolution stuff. Someday I would like to go back to see The Great Passion Play. (I'd also like to see The Hill Cumorah Pageant.)

Anyway Eurkea Springs is a cute little town - we spent some time at the train area, had lunch, walked the streets, looked at shops.

As we drove back to Rogers we stopped in at Pea Ridge and drove through the Civil War battle site. And because it was near to closing time they let us in for free. I think we saw about 5 eagles which was pretty cool.

That evening we did pizza and pool- always my favorite and then sad our good-byes! A great trip!!!!
