Tuesday (Apr 12) was the free cone day at Ben & Jerry's. We call it SCOOP DAY and consider it a holiday. In fact Tommy was home on Tuesday thanks to his jury duty being canceled- and it was a perfect day for a holiday. The weather was GORG. We biked to preschool to pickup Kathryn and then headed to Ben & Jerry's by Calhoun.
After our ice cream and some more biking we were ready for dinner. So of course a Pizza LUCE picnic at the park made perfect sense. Then we raced home to watch Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. I'm not so sure he'd approve of ice cream before a dinner of pizza, but SCOOP DAY is only once a year and we're USUALLY pretty healthy eaters....
