Heart of the Beast did a library presentation at Washburn about the book On the Day You Were Born. It's a great story! The girls were very excited about the puppet show. Eleanor did sit with her back to the show and turned her body/neck to watch it and Tommy wanted to raise Madeline up every time the baby was referred to in the story.
COOL IDEA ALERT!!! (from the author's website): Sometimes copies are carried to the hospital where the dedication page is stamped with the footprints of the infant, and signed by the doctors, nurses and visitors.
