Black Friday

We went to Joanns and I got a Cricut! People in Indianapolis have southern accents so it was fun hearing them talk in line and it wasn't too cold waiting.

I'm now collecting cartridges.... If anyone ever wants to borrow it-- PLEASE do so!!! So far- so fun! I'm looking forward to some weekend afternoons after the holidays to do some scrapbooking- which basically means printing out the blog and adding stickers!

And then we looked at Christmas lights at 6am in the morning and stopped by Starbucks for fun drinks.  We had the girls along- they're always up for an adventure!

Later in the day Tommy RANDOMLY saw an ad for the camera we wanted $200 less then we'd seen anywhere else and we rushed out and got a Canon Rebel.  The store had just found a couple more in the back and then had sold out again while we were there. 

Yesterday I went through the 1000 plus pictures we've taken in the last week and a half.  We're busy reading the manuel, finding tutorials online, and making our children pose for us. I think it would be very fun to take a class. Expect a huge photography improvement in the days to come on our blog! 

Both are things I wanted for my birthday but I said not to buy until Black Friday and even then only if the deals were good. We are very happy with our scores!
