ELEVEN MONTHS OLD

Today Kathryn is 11 months old. She walks all over the house from room to room inspecting as she goes. The kid notices everything especially if something is different- a glass of water or keys on a table- it's all fair game. She is VERY busy with her projects. The projects include emptying out laundry baskets of socks, unrolling the toilet paper, and making sure her important collections are placed in the proper places= her toy box or exersaucer. Important collections include remotes, cell phones, bills, books, dog leashes, shoes- pretty much if you're missing something check with Kathryn! After naps she stands and waits in the crib - once she sees us she has a guilty expression and quickly lays back down laughing- kind of like she'd tricked us and gotten away with it. It's the funniest thing to watch. A really big thing this month has been Kathryn's need to CLIMB- step stools, high chairs, stairs, laundry baskets, bath tub- she wants up and in. It might be time to bolt the bookcases to the wall! We plan to go to the Childrens Museum this weekend- so she can climb and explore the area for little ones and to celebrate being 11 months old.
