Eleanor's school has a very special way to celebrate birthdays. Each child brings in their favorite fruit for snack, the teacher ("guide") shares pictures of her growing up, and then they circle the sun (candle) -in Eleanor's case 4 times singing a song. Then they sing Happy Birthday in English and German (her teacher is from Germany.
