A few weeks ago a neighbor drop off the teeniest monarch caterpillars. We split them between us and another family. We ended up with what seemed like millions of caterpillars that were going through milk weed like crazy. (I'm know an expert on finding/taking milkweed without anyone noticing....) We watched them form into chrysalis and then we waited. The other morning I checked the net and no change- then about 10 minutes later Tommy checked and we had a monarch!!! With in the next day or two we ended up with 15 monarchs!!! Yeserday we let them go in the front yard.
**This didn't actually happen yesterday-not a fan of the way blogger is doing drafts now.**
