Christmas Tea

Last Saturday the girls and I spent the morning with Ellen at a Christmas Tea at their church. It was put on by the Gems (which is like Girl Scouts.) We started with tea and hot chocolate, appetizers, a program with carols and then an ornament making craft.

This (or a version of it) was served and it was so good. Eleanor really liked it, but she's a dip girl like me. Maybe I should make it this weekend...
The craft was cute and simple- it'd make great gift tags. A larger star cut out of the corrugated side of cardboard, glue a small star cut cut out of sheet music (they just used copies but you can find old sheet music at thrift stores) and then a twine bow glued on top. Attach a ribbon and BAM. Easy-peasy. Lovely ladies morning.
