Last night we had book club here and discussed: Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. I think everyone really enjoyed reading it (enjoy might not be the right word- there's a lot of brutality and horrible parts.) But it's just an amazing story of Louis Zampereini.
Tommy (who's not exactly known for his love of reading) started it Friday night and spent every possible minute reading it -completely enthralled. So if you're looking for an inspiring read this summer - it's a good one!
(And if you're really luck the 7 kids in attendance can for the most part entertain themselves and look after each other.)
