~Target Field Open House~

Tommy desperately wants the 2 of us to go to a game together before baby arrives- unfortunately the only game that really works is 5 days before due date. I could

A) already have the baby

B) be having the baby or

C) What I'm actually most fearful of--- being way too big and uncomfortable for the stadium seats and truth be told I really want that $7 Mikes Hard Lemonade.

Tommy's plan of action is anytime we're in the car find a reason to drive by the stadium and maybe I'll see the light and demand we go and then he can buy tickets and there's be no turning back. Saturday afternoon we noticed a lot of activity by the stadium and decided to park and check out the action. Low and behold it was a special open house for season ticket holders. We unfortunately are not season ticket holders, but we do spend a lot of money at Target...

Tommy- being Tommy- asks if we can go in and the older man at the gate looks at us and says "You don't seem like you could do much damage to the place- have a great time!" Seriously?!?!? Needless to say we scooted past him and didn't look back.

We had a great afternoon exploring the new stadium and pretty much having the place to ourselves! I'm very excited to see a game (someday) I think our tour satisfied Tommy's want of us going together (it was more about me seeing the new stadium then really seeing a game)- maybe later in the summer or next year we'll have that date!
