Kathryn is 3 today!!! On Sunday her grandparents and friend S came over for pizza and to celebrate. Her birthday requests were chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, chocolate sprinkles, balloons and presents. I've never seen her so excited- she kept going over the guest list, supplies needed, etc. She loved all her presents and had a great celebration.
Today she went to Free to Be Three at our neighborhood park. (She's younger then everyone but thanks to being potty trained and fine in group situations they took her!) It was our first time dropping her off somewhere- she did great and I had to bribe her with the promise of birthday cake after lunch to leave school. Her teacher is Miss Jan.
After lunch the girls enjoyed some more birthday cake!
At 5:30 Kathryn got to experience her birthday present from us- a dance class! (Last year it was a music class at Mt. Oliviet- most likely Eleanor's 2nd b-day gift)
We'd given her the little dance outfit on Sunday. the class was so stinking cute!!! she had a great time -and was at the same time very intense. she's such a rule follower.
After class we went to Snuffy's for her birthday dinner.
She had requested cheeseburgers and fries! We had a great meal and finished it off with a chocolate malt. Maybe not so smart mommy did put a lit candle into a plastic glass. I'd planned on 3 candles but Tommy got hyper about plastic melting, starting a fire, blah, blah.

I think our Katie-Coo had a great birthday. Her conversations are hilarious, she's very friendly and loving child. Her imagination and creativity is exploding. She loves to play and read stories and drink chocolate milk. Happy 3rd Birthday!
