Last weekend was a 3 day weekend and we'd originally planned to go somewhere for some pool time, but the weekend crept up on us so we just went to New Ulm on Saturday.
We took a lot of back-roads (read: gravel), saw lots of farms and animals, ate lunch at a German restaurant and saw the Glockenspiel in action. It was a warm and sunny day so that was great!

I love all of your family outing ideas. How do you decide on these? We have so many ideas in our head, we end up unable to make a decision ;-)
