~100 Days Remaining~

hopefully less...

until our baby girl arrives!!! We are very excited to meet her. I feel like I've been pregnant forever and now the end is in site. It has been very similar to the others- sick in the mornings, but then usually feel fine. I no longer get sick every day which is nice. My back had been really hurting so last Monday I went to a physical therapist and got a pregnancy belt. It has been AWESOME! (So if Carolyn, Jessi or Sarah see this- I no longer look as if I might fall to the floor at any moment.) I'm measuring right on with a due date of May 8 and I'm waiting for the glucose test results (I passed before so I'm not too worried.)

I went in for a dating ultrasound at the end of November and ended up being a couple of weeks farther along then I thought. So the tech put her guess into an envelope that Tommy and I opened together later that night. Then over break we had a Level 2 ultrasound to look further at the umbilical cord- which is fine- it was neat to have a second ultrasound and then Tommy was able to see her.

(about 17 weeks)

I'm not doing a Centering group this time (But I would recommend one for anyone!) because of trying to figure out daycare/scheduling and there wasn't a May group (I'm sure April or June would've been happy to have me.) I actually haven't had very many appointments, but Kathryn and Eleanor have gotten to hear the heartbeat and help the midwife. Kathryn is excited about our baby sister in mommy's tummy. Eleanor (similar to when Kathryn) will probably never remember life without the new one.

We told our families around my birthday by just asking them to guess our news and write it down. Heather and Ellen were the big winners of some candy. At Christmas when we were all together we had Kathryn tell that it would be a girl. I made the grandparents little tag book with the ultrasound pictures using the cricut.

(about 22 weeks- sucking her thumb)

So we will have 3 girls in high school (and college and weddings..) at once- TP is already imaging how the P girls will dominate the basketball team. I'm not sure if she'll be our last child- but I think my body (read: esophagus and back) is done. So the countdown is on....

It's fun to hear about how the pregnancy is going. I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. I also am excited that you are having another girl! I have two younger sisters (and we also have a brother, who is the youngest), and there is about four years between the three of us girls. I LOVE having two sisters, and they are certainly my very best friends. It will be fun for you and Tommy to have them in high school, college, etc. at the same time. They will certainly be very close! Congratulations, and I hope the rest of the pregnancy goes by smoothly and quickly for you.

Congratulations! Three girls will be great. I love my sisters (we have a total age gap of 5 years). And while it was two years of planning and weddings, it was great to have each other to do it with. Many blessings to your whole family!
