Then Laura came over and we went to watch the marathon. She brought donuts and we enjoyed eating them while watching the runners do their thing. Peter looked great when we saw him. We're at about mile 8.5. Now that the Zs are our neighbors they walked over and watched with us.
Then we went to Sarah and Drew's baby shower. Their little guy will be here in about 16 days!! Very exciting for them. The shower was at a Sarah's coworker Jen's house. It is such a beautiful house. It was like a perfect Christmas house- I was hoping it would snow while we were there! Thankfully it didn't snow. They made individual quiches in a muffin pan-- so cute! And tasty! A very fun brunch with friends!!!
While we were at the shower the Bs watched Kathryn and Eleanor. My plan had just been to bring Eleanor with because we always just bring her everywhere we go, but they offered to watch her too so we left our (not so little) baby for what we think is one of the first times with anyone. Of course she did great! And I'm sure it helps that she sees them twice a day. The big struggle was getting Kathryn to come home with us!! Car drama- leave it at that.
Then we came home and took NAPS!!! And I declared we will never do anything ever again on a Sunday- I'm not used to being so busy!!! It was very fun day. For dinner we had pancakes, eggs and bacon. We ate a lot of breakfast food today. We're fighting colds and trying our best to stay healthy. Have a great week!
