On Saturday Eleanor celebrated her two months! We were in Duluth for a long weekend with my parents so she spent a lot of time getting to know them. She experienced her first time in the pool!
Eleanor is smily all the time now. She's even started smiling at her own reflection. This morning we had her 2 month appointment. She's looking great- she weighs 11lbs, 7 oz (75%) and is 24 3/4 inches (>97%!) Eleanor's a tall one!!! She was a total ham for the doctor and hated the nurse with the shots- the shots were harder on me. Eleanor was able to calm down and regain her coolness much faster then mommy. In general she only cries for 3 reasons 1) hungry 2) tired/wants to be swaddled/slinged/held or 3) wants to sprawl out. She's started batting at her various mobiles and she is even able to activate the music. She's sleeping between 6-7 hours a night. We have a variety of nicknames for Eleanor- Ells-bells, Bellsy, Nora, Nor-Nor, Ella, Ellsy and so on..Kathryn will usually correct us and call her Eleanor. It is very sweet when Eleanor smiles at Kathryn! We're having a great time with our little baby!!!
