just a nice night in

Tonight we decorated cookies! I actually made them last week but with Kathryn's cold we decided to wait until she was feeling better. Kathryn did a great job spreading the frosting and shaking the sprinkles on the cookies. And we all enjoyed eating the cookies! I can definitely see this as a fun tradition - it was just a nice night in!





Earlier in the day we had read Kathryn's new book "Christmas Cookies Bite Sized Holiday Lessons." The author also wrote "Cookies Bite Sized Life Lessons"- both books introduce a word like sharing or tradition and then give examples or a little lesson using cookies. Very cute books!



After the cookie fun Tommy and Kathryn had to work off the sugar and the baby dolls wanted milk.
