Here's Baby!

This picture is from August 23- we met with the midwife today and everything is going great and baby looks good! It was very reassuring to hear all that. The baby is measuring six days later then what was first thought- putting the due date at January 12.

We addressed some of my labor/delivery concerns from the book Misconceptions and she recommended some other books along the same lines including one about hypnobirthing which uses visualization and suggestions to help during the labor and some other books about midwifery and natural approaches to labor/delivery.

Also there is no longer a concern about me gaining weight! I was shocked when I saw the scale today! SHOCKED!!! The nursery is painted and the crib set up for our baby girl. That's right baby is a girl- but if she's a he then I'll edit this post in the future! Just sort of throwing that in to see if anyone actually reads this!

TPs at football right now and I need to do some reading. I'm a bit apprehensive about this semester- huge projects to do so I plan to start early and not spend Thanksgiving break in a panic!
