We got back last night from our vacation. We're tired and glad to be home, but had a great time. We met the Ds in Philadelphia last Friday- stayed there until Sunday. Then Valley Forge and Hershey. On Monday we were at Gettysburg on the anniversary of the third day of the battles- saw the Confederates storm a ridge and then went to Hershey Amusement park for free and went on some rides. On the 4th we went through Amish country and watched the fireworks in Baltimore. On Wednesday afternoon through Friday we explored NYC and finally Friday night and yesterday was spent in the Poconos.
The Ps watched Carter and it sounds as if she too had her share of adventures! Including her attendance at a wedding rehearsal dinner!
